Dalo’s Texpen is a name all are familiar with in the textile industry. Texpen is the largest selling marker in the textile industry with its steel tip for smooth writing and rubber valve for pump action. For quite a few years there was no competition to Dalo Texpen. But now, Asia’s largest textile marker manufacturer has successfully developed the ‘texpen’ and they are the second in the world to manufacture Texpen Styled Markers like Dalo/Dykem. Their quality of marker is pretty good compared to Texpen while they offer the product at less than half the price of the Dalo Texpen. Its now upto the consumer to decide for which product he opts for i.e. whether he goes on the brand value or whether he looks at cost constraints and opts for Century Markers.
So what do you prefer. A feltip marker or a metal tip marker? Feltip Markers are made up of cloth/threads something like those sketch pens. They are long lasting and their mechanism is simple to understand. In Feltip Markers the ink needs to wet the feltip so that the ink can flow out. The feltips are very costly and are only imported through Japan.
Metal Tips are more the conventional type of marker pens. The have a metal tip with a ball-point which releases ink as the ball is presses. The one good thing about metal tip ball-point markers is that there is less leakage and they are even less expensive. Moreover, the tips are replacable and really long-lasting and do not break that easily.
