"Feltip Marker"
So what do you prefer. A feltip marker or a metal tip marker? Feltip Markers are made up of cloth/threads something like those sketch pens. They are long lasting and their mechanism is simple to understand. In Feltip Markers the ink needs to wet the feltip so that the ink can flow out. The feltips are very costly and are only imported through Japan.
Metal Tips are more the conventional type of marker pens. The have a metal tip with a ball-point which releases ink as the ball is presses. The one good thing about metal tip ball-point markers is that there is less leakage and they are even less expensive. Moreover, the tips are replacable and really long-lasting and do not break that easily.
